- In-depth knowledge of purchase trends and behaviors of LMR, LTE and/or software technology buyers - Ability to perform complex business, financial, and valuation modeling - Tracking market share in markets MSI is evaluating or pursuing - Analyze and provide reports on LMR, LTE and/or software competitors and competitive product threats - Proactively identify key non-traditional threats and new market opportunities - Provide actionable information that will drive fact-based and timely portfolio management decisions around existing product lines to optimize profitability and growth. - Support other projects as defined by Business Operations Teams often times in the areas of communications (presentations, organizing and planning meetings and events)
Qualifications:
Understand government or public safety marketplace, challenges and buying agenda
Develops intimate understanding of the LMR, LTE and/or software business, including financials, positioning, marketing programs, distributions, and of customers
Experience in analyzing and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative information, identifying implications and observing patterns, making correct inferences, drawing conclusions, explaining facts, data, or information to evaluate competitors' products/services, strategic direction, and core competencies utilizing a wide variety of resources
Ability to focus on details as well as the bigger picture
Strong oral presentation and written communication skills for executive, sales, and technical audiences.
Collaborative approach to teaming across international boundaries and navigating cross-cultural differences
Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering, Business, Analytics, Marketing, or Information Systems
Minimum 8 or more years of professional work experience in market research, insights, intelligence, analytics or business development
