Senior Accountant (Administrative)

Job Overview
This position will assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, daily sales reporting, continuous internal control evaluation and review, technical accounting research, preparation of audit requests, acquisition integration and special projects.
Responsibilities & Duties:
• Assist with the monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external financial reporting
• Assist with the preparation of the annual audited consolidated financial statements and disclosures
• Report daily sales activity for all business units
• Perform technical accounting research when necessary
• Review, evaluate and assist with the implementation and/or improvement of internal controls
• Prepare monthly deferred revenue entries for certain business units
• Assist with the preparation of requested schedules for the annual audit
• Assist with the integration of acquired businesses
• Respond to ad hoc data or reporting requests
• Support special projects as needed
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; MBA preferred; CPA required
• Three years of relevant accounting experience; public accounting experience is preferred
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with Great Plains and FRx or Management Reporter is preferred
