Clinical Applications Specialist (QA) (Project Management)
Provide technical training for individuals or groups on specific EHR topics including, but not limited to, monthly New Hire training classes to orient new staff to their program's EHR.
Respond to all EHR-related "Help Desk" queries from users by accurately evaluating the complexity of each query in order to effectively address user requests and resolve technical issues; escalate high-level issues to the software company as needed. Communicate (in a verbal or written manner) resolutions to individual users and when appropriate assist them in understanding underlying causes of their problem and provide subsequent follow-up to ensure that problem has been wholly resolved.
Assist in the development and running of weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting of data to monitor EHR system functions, data integrity, and to satisfy funding requirements.
Assist with maintenance of all EHR-related support materials (including handouts and user guides) in collaboration with other QA Department members to stay current with software enhancements.
Assist with the construction of (or updates to) forms created in AWARDS
Complete additional special projects as assigned.
This position reports to the Deputy Director of Clinical Applications Support.
