Program Manager, Programs (CNF) (Healthcare)
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Program Execution and Project Management
•Collaborate with multi-stakeholder key opinion leaders to develop educational and advocacy materials related to all of CNF's projects and programs, including transition of care, behavioral management, the Annual Education Initiative, the Family Support and Empowerment Program, health IT initiatives, and larger access issues
•Manage event coordination for above programs including agenda creation, scheduling, logistics coordinating, note taking, and speaker preparation
•Assist in data collection and qualitative research as needed to inform education and resource development, may assist in managing the publication process
•Develop deep understanding of issues affecting children experiencing neurologic conditions and their families, and be able to professionally represent CNF on the topic to both members and non-members
•Facilitate the update of educational resources on the CNF website including copy edits, design updates, translation to multiple languages, and creation of a patient user-friendly copy
•Manage collaborations with other organizations working in CNF program related areas to ensure collaborative processes to improve patient experience
•Collaborate with Development Team to ensure program outcomes are accurately and appropriately represented in their efforts
•Provide support to the Director, Programs for executing meetings and program deliverables. Including but not limited to scheduling, agenda preparation, attendee prep work, committee management, note taking
Leadership
•This position has no direct reports but may provide work direction to contractors
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
•Associates degree in education, health policy, public health, social work, community development or related area required
•Bachelor's degree preferred
•Equivalent combination of additional experience beyond the minimum requirement and/or education may be substituted for degree requirement
Experience:
•Minimum of 2 years of experience designing and implementing education programs both in-person and digitally is required
•Experience in executing project plans for education programs is required
•Experience with digital learning technologies is preferred
•Background in medical education for both patients and physicians preferred

•Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while working under only general supervision is required

•Ability to professionally and warmly represent CNF to members and non-members is required
•Ability to flexibly manage emerging strategic priorities for the organization is required
•Demonstrated legislative or patient advocacy experience is preferred
•Event planning skills or experience managing committee meetings is preferred
•Knowledge of various social media platforms, CRM and SharePoint is preferred
•Experience with project management and fundraising software is preferred
ADDITIONAL POSITION INFORMATION:
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Travel Requirements: Some travel required – up to 15%
Location: Minneapolis, MN or Lexington, KY
Schedule: Some evenings and weekends required
