Assistant Vice President, Account Opening (Finance)
The Assistant Vice President's role is to act as a single point of contact for the Client for their market opening needs. This individual will own oversight and control of the market opening process and partner with the COE's to ensure a smooth process.
Purpose of Role:
The Assistant Vice President's role is to act as a single point of contact for the Client for their market opening needs. This individual will own oversight and control of the market opening process and partner with the COE's to ensure a smooth process.
Specific Duties:
• Works with business units and clients to complete client profile, market entrance and tax account set up for international custody accounts
• Respond to inquiries, proactively communicate on topics of interest, advocate on behalf of the client for services for which they are providing support. Complex problem resolution, and serves as an escalation point for client
• Proactively monitor and summarize outstanding requests and related regulatory changes.
• Work with Global Network team to review client and market account structures
• Work directly with Clients to explain complex market regulations and assist in meetings as needed
• Directly interacts with clients and COE support teams on a daily basis providing support on complex account opening and tax entitlement matters
• Implement customized processing as reporting needed
• Develop strong relationship with the client developing a strong understanding of client's workflows and creates tailored solutions
• Direct oversight responsibility for all aspects of the account opening process
• Direct contact with the client to develop an understanding of client's strategic direction to ensure the client gains entrance into foreign markets with the appropriate account structure to begin investing
• Ensure all related activity and market documentation is in place for the client
necessary to open securities and cash accounts in any foreign market
• Serves as a knowledge expert and key advisor on any foreign market in our Network.
Business Unit Specific Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 5 – 7 years of experience within the Financial
Services Industry preferably, Asset Servicing or Account Opening
• Regular interaction with senior management
• Highly technical foreign market entrance knowledge
• Strong operations and client management skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, organizational, prioritization and problem solving skills
