Sales Development Representative - Commercial, Emerging Markets (Finance)
We're looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales organization. This new role will prospect and develop qualified sales opportunities for the Commercial sales team and will support the Emerging Markets verticals, which include all industries except financial institutions. SDRs are responsible for prospecting and developing opportunities within current and new accounts through, but not limited to, outbound cold-calling efforts, email campaigns, and/or inbound lead qualification.
What you will do
Research and analyze prospective targets
Manage all lead source opportunities in conjunction with the sales team
Improve communication regarding the lead outcome with the sales team
Support all marketing campaigns through lead follow up and appointment setting
Assist in developing target lists for all campaigns
Update contact database/CRM with prospecting and meeting notes
Manage monthly "touch" campaigns for new business development
Assist with seminars, tradeshows and conferences
Assist with references and Request for Proposal (RFP) process
Support sales team regarding product lead qualification and appointments
Manage business development and revenue generated metrics
Data mining and research accounts
What experience you need
Bachelor's degree, preferably with a business related major or field of study
Lead generation, outbound telephone cold-calling, and b2b appointment setting experience, preferably involving Director, Senior, or "C" level executives
Ability to open doors via telephone conversations and reach key decision-makers
Knowledge of 'contact' databases and CRMs such as Salesforce
Experience using the Google Suite
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines
Persuasive writing and communication skills

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $55,000 to $68,000. This position is also eligible for our sales incentive compensation program.
