Responsible for performing entry level job functions relative to patient meal service, cafeteria, catering, food prep, and sanitation.
Delivers and collects patient menus; prepares/portions food; assembles trays; stocks supplies. Loads, unloads and transports products. Performs sanitation and ware washing duties. No direct patient care.
EDUCATION:
A high school graduate or equivalent.
Must be able to read, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations.
Prior relevant food service experience preferred.
Able to lift 40 lbs., push or pull 400 lbs. cart; reach above head and stoop to floor.
Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interact with patients and co-workers.
Able to work independently without direct supervision.
