Microbiology Supervisor (Biotech)

As Quality Control Microbiology Supervisor, you will have responsibility for ensuring analytical equipment and computer systems in the lab science space are installed, validated, calibrated and maintained, and ensure laboratory procedures are compliant with regulatory requirements.
This role requires gowning up, working in controlled GMP environment as well as working in utility areas. This role requires office work, microbial laboratory work handling chemical reagents that may be hazardous (corrosive, toxic, flammable etc.), computer work, group meetings, and thus involves sitting, standing, walking, working with analytical instruments, repetitive motion including bending and lifting small containers/equipment.
This role requires periodic working outside of 0800-1700 hours for on call activities such as chamber management, EM or water sampling, reviewing data or other activities that the QC Microbiology laboratory is responsible for. Support team during weekends and holidays as needed.
