Job Description
The Corporate Strategy & Innovation group (CS&I) at Bose works on the Corporation's most critical business and growth initiatives. The group's activities include Corporate Strategy, Customer & Market Insights, M&A, Internal & External Ventures. The Market Analysis team in CS&I supports the core business units and innovation growth areas by providing insights to inform data-driven decisions about the markets and geographies where we do or could compete.
This Market Analyst role will drive the research and analysis of our current and potential markets, distribution and competitive landscapes. Output includes analyses, forecasts and recommendations in the areas of product preferences, sales coverage, market penetration, market practices and sales trends. The position researches market conditions and sales performance/velocity in different retail channels to determine potential sales or develop effective sales and marketing strategies for a product or family of products. This work will directly inform and influence ongoing business planning and growth strategies. This individual will work closely with leadership as well as sales, marketing, product teams.
A high degree of business acumen, coupled with creativity and resourcefulness, are required. You will often serve as an internal expert, developing a deep understanding of the consumer categories and apply rigorous analytical methods to derive actionable recommendations. You must be adept at quickly learning about new markets, product categories, and technologies. We are seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented market analyst who can transform raw data into meaningful insights, providing actionable recommendations that influence our stakeholders to act. This individual will be part of a team that applies market analysis, data visualization, competitive intelligence, and business strategy to strengthen Bose's position in the marketplace.
