Temporary Recruiter (Human Resources)

Starting Hourly Rate: $21.65, Full-Time

Role Summary:

Under the supervision of the Recruiting Supervisor, the Recruiter will lead full life cycle recruitment for regular and temporary positions, partnering with Hiring Managers and HR to identify, attract and acquire top talent for the City.

Education, Training and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field  
• Recruitment (full cycle recruiting) experience at least 3+ years 
• Experience with applicant tracking, recruitment metrics, interview and selection, sourcing/job board management, and job fair/career events preferred.  
• Experience with HRIS at least 1 year 
• Experience with computers and software applications used in business settings (e.g., MS Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) 
• Basic knowledge of legal compliance for sourcing and selection 
• The City of Ann Arbor, at its discretion, will consider an alternative combination of education and experience. 

Education, Training and Experience Preferred:

• Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills 
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build effective relationships and partner with hiring managers. 
• Organize and schedule work effectively while working under limited supervision. 
• Coordinate multiple projects and meet critical deadlines in a timely and accurate manner. 
• Ability to recruit through social media, such as Linked-In, Twitter, Facebook 
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and team skills and work well in a team environment. 
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and interface with all levels of employees and external candidates.
