Manager, State Government Relations (Project Management)
Summary
The Manager of State Government Relations will manage a multistate portfolio for Save the Children Action Network (SCAN)'s early childhood education (ECE) campaign. Working in partnership with in-state teams and lobbyists, the Manager will develop and implement strategies to advance initiatives within target states/municipalities. He/she will oversee the development and management of relationships with state and local legislative bodies, executive offices, and organizations that align with SCAN's ECE priorities in those states. The Manager will ensure close coordination and collaboration with SCAN's in-state mobilization staff. The Manager will also work across SCAN departments and with Save the Children's United States Programs (USP). The Manager is also responsible for supporting the Director of State Government Relations with policy research and tracking and reporting of legislative affairs and activities.
