The Associate Project Leader is the interface between various business units (or business partners) and the IT teams. They will be responsible for facilitating and communicating functional and technical requirements of projects to the IT teams. This position must have a general understanding of the technology and multi-practice disciplines associated with customer development projects and a working comprehension of the technical components of the environment.
The Associate Project Leader is required to coordinate the necessary activities in all areas of IT/eSolutions, as applicable for the successful completion of the assigned project. Management skills include strong communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of internal and client organizations (customers and vendors) to ensure project success, develop the ability to weigh alternatives/determine strategy, and gain experience in leading teams. Knowledge of all related business areas and how they interact is of significant importance. They may have staff responsibilities, limited to the tasks associated with the current project.
