Tool Developer/Software Engineer (Implant Java) (Government)

Description
FedSys is currently seeking Information Technology Subject Matter Experts to support Cyberspace Operations in the Fort Meade, MD area. The Tool Developer/Software Engineer is expected to perform full spectrum operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform software development, analysis, architecture, engineering, and integration services at the unit, module, and system levels, as well as all aspects of software engineering support to implement operations capabilities
Adhere to open standards and modern software development methodologies and best practices
Specify, design, develop, code, test, integrate, and document software modules systems and subsystems to provide new functional capabilities and improve Cyber Operations and enabling systems at a TS/SCI level
Reverse engineer software components and systems to support vulnerability and exploitation operations
Rapid prototyping required to meet time critical requirements
Provide software development of modules that manipulate memory structures, and registers using low-level embedded systems techniques including but not limited to: pointer arithmetic, casting variables to or from structs or arrays, common C preprocessor directives, bit masking, bit shifting for powers of 2, event-driven or state-driven programming, error logging, and exception handling
Prompt and regular attendance.
Other duties as assigned by senior FedSys management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must have strong proficiency in computer systems architecture concepts and operating systems internals
Advanced skills in UNIX platform (preferably Linux)
Must have knowledge in Java and Network Development
Capable of reverse engineering functions
Must have experience in Java Development for Android (JNI experience required)
Low-level operating systems experience (for Android/Linux)
Must have O&M endpoint capabilities
Security Requirements
The selected individual must be able to successfully pass a background and drug screening as a condition of employment. The selected individual may/will be subject to a Government security background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements. Candidates must currently be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI level clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph. Clearance level requirement may be subject to change at the government's discretion. In this event, you will be required to obtain and maintain the required clearance for the duration of your employment. Incumbent may be selected at a higher or lower clearance level as specified by any change made by the Government.
Educational / Work Experience
Professional/Certification Requirements
Graduate of Computer Network Operations Development Program (or equivalent) highly desired. Must be willing to complete specific IT Certifications if necessary.
