IT Helpdesk Support, #4217 (Project Management)
Perform installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of laptop computers, peripheral equipment, and security software within established standards and guidelines.
Assists in development and implementation of new systems, technologies, and policies.
Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems or warranty related problems with computer equipment and software.
Help plan, and upgrade systems and services as needed to keep them up to date.
Help ensure all laptop hard drives are encrypted and backed up regularly.
Provide support with implementing and enforcing information systems security posture, security policies, standards, and methodologies.
Efficiently and professionally assist end-users with resolving hardware and software issues reported through the help desk system in a timely manner.
Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation.
Identify, recommend and participate in process improvement initiatives.
Candidates will get exposure to a large variety of systems and software packages rather than simply be focused on one small area. Ideal candidates should be self-motivated who can work independently and have a proven work experience.
