WORK SCHEDULES:
We're looking to fill hours on weekends and evening shifts, but there is opportunity to work day shift hours as well!
1:30PM-10PM9:30PM-6AM

DUTIES:
Monitoring access control and challenging those without proper identification.Maintaining the visitor management system, checking visitors, guests.Issuing badges and access cards and maintaining security logs.Monitoring a CCTV system.Vehicle and Foot patrols of the interior and exterior, walking for around 6 hours per 8 hour shift required.Checking in authorized personnel onsite.Working a standing post for 8-hour shifts or longer.Ability to interact with the public in a direct and professional manner, strong interpersonal skills.
TO SUCCEED AT METRO ONE:
Have excellent interpersonal communication skills in customer service.High level of awareness, attentiveness, and alertness.Ability to de-escalate situations and remain calm in confrontation.Capable of standing for long periods of time and exhibiting physical strength.Astute observation and detailed notetaking/reporting.Hold oneself to a standard of punctuality and responsibility.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a valid IL PERC Card or the ability to attain one.High school diploma or equivalent
