Treatment Aide (Nights, Thurs-Sat, 24hrs/wk) - Kitsap County Crisis Triage Center (Personal Services)
To provide on-going assistance to clients in the Crisis Support Services Center (CSSC) while maintaining a safe and therapeutic work environment. To take appropriate measures for assisting clients in meeting their daily basic needs for health and safety. To assist in meeting client treatment objectives as directed by the treatment team. To provide appropriate documentation as required by KMHS policies and procedures.
To improve the operations of KMHS in support of its stated mission. To provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Mental Health Professional Shift Supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED with six months relevant work experience, ability to gain licensure as an Agency Affiliated Counselor (or other applicable counselor profession) in Washington State, valid Washington State Driver License and Food Handler card. A bachelor's degree in a counseling-related field is preferred.
Note: Gender (female or male as applicable) is a bona fide occupational qualification for the position of Psychiatric Aide at this time, under an opinion letter of the Executive Director of the Washington State Human Rights Commission.
PHYSICAL CONSIDERATIONS: While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, ascend and descend stairs, talk or listen and lift up to 50 pounds. Peripheral vision is also required for this position.
PAY GRADE: 111
