Pharmacy Operations Lead Rep.- DME- Accredo - Onsite (Finance)



Location: 100% onsite in Warrendale, PA

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

This role is site dependent in the Warrendale, PA location, leading the Durable Medical Equipment department within the overall Warrendale Fulfillment operation. The Lead Representative will report to the Operations Supervisor for Inventory and Durable Medical Equipment.

The Lead Representative will be responsible for supporting and directing the team members in fulfilling their respective responsibilities and meeting their commitments. The Lead Representative will ensure workflow is optimized and performed to meet the needs of the department as specified by the Operations Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of representatives acting in supporting the overall fulfillment operation at the Warrendale hub.
  • Promote a positive team environment and team cohesiveness.
  • Lead by example promoting a culture of a single Fulfillment department to which the DME team belongs to and supports.
  • Ensure team commitments and responsibilities are met including but not limited to: JCAHO compliance, infusion device inventories, network demand for infusion devices, and direct patient deliverables.
  • Ensure best practices are followed and shared.
  • Assist in process improvements and development of programs to enhance and optimize internal/external customer service.
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking team member productivity via scorecards and other record keeping.
  • Develop and coach team members with productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 yrs experience in pharmacy fulfillment operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to develop team members.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other individuals/departments to resolve complex issues with innovative and effective solutions.
  • Independent decision maker with ability to handle dynamic working environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations in a professional manner.
