The Youth Peer Educator will educate American Indian/Alaskan Native youth about mental health, suicide prevention and substance use prevention using a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed approach. Through youth-centered outreach, programs, and workshops, the Youth Peer Educator will create an inclusive support system within the youth space, promoting safe, healthy behaviors and relationships. The Youth Peer Educator will have a primary responsibility for using their lived experience and knowledge to provide outreach and engagement, support, and advocacy to AI/AN youth.
