Accounting Associate (Healthcare)
Job Summary:
The Accounting Associate is primarily responsible for processing accounts payable utilizing Great Plains accounting software and some human resources functions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Processes incoming mail/invoices which will be matched to packing slips, coded with correct GL Account numbers and keyed into accounting software.Complete bank reconciliations.Match and code credit cards statements with receipts.Perform TOS deposits.Process employee expense reimbursement file.Complete final review and approval of employee timecards for bi-weekly payroll processing.Maintain personnel files, including scanning and filing appropriate employee documents.Reviews and enter all personnel data in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensures accuracy. Handles follow-ups as necessary.Coordinate new hire processing including orientations, completion of pertinent employment forms and entering information into the payroll system.Maintain position openings/job positions, coordinating personnel recruitment including advertisements, completing background and reference checks, etc.Assist with yearly open enrollment for benefit programs.Manage CME and uniform allowances.Assist with employee morale initiatives (ex. Anniversary Recognition Program, holiday events, etc.)Maintains strict confidentiality regarding payroll and HR issues within the company.Performs all other duties as required and assigned.
