Position Summary — The Revenue Auditor (Non-Gaming) is responsible for reviewing and reconciling all non-gaming revenue streams, including food and beverage, Lodge, and retail operations. This position ensures financial accuracy, compliance with internal controls, and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of financial auditing processes.

Essential Functions

    • Audit non-gaming revenue streams, including Lodge operations, food and beverage sales, and retail transactions.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial regulations, and company policies.
    • Review financial records, contracts, and invoices for accuracy and completeness.
    • Identify and investigate discrepancies, variances, or irregularities in non-gaming revenue reports.
    • Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and recommend process improvements.
    • Create Audit Templates/Entries
    • Work closely with accounting, compliance, and operational departments to resolve audit findings.
    • Assist in developing and refining internal auditing procedures.
    • Support and assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
    • Maintain accurate and organized records of all audit activities.
    •  Stay informed on financial regulations and industry best practices.
    • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
  • 1–3 years of auditing, accounting, or finance experience (Preferred)
  • Casino experience (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and internal control procedures (Required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/auditing software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Other Requirements — Required to obtain and maintain a Seneca Cayuga tribal gaming license and a state issued I.D. All applicants must successfully pass a preemployment drug screening prior to beginning employment. Must be at least 18 years of age per gaming regulations. May require occasional evening or weekend work, especially during month-end of year-end closing.

Physical Requirements — The Revenue Auditor primarily works in an office setting but may occasionally visit gaming floors or other operational areas for audits. The role requires extended periods of sitting, working with computers, and reviewing financial data.

Work Environment — Grand Lake Casino is a drug and alcohol-free workplace; Must be able to work in a casino environment which includes high levels of smoke, dust, and noise.
