IndraSoft, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified DevOps Engineer to work in Port San Antonio, TX. The candidate will support a diverse and challenging Cyber Weapon Systems that is evolving with the technology landscape.  The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the automation and continuous integration of software build products, maintain tools for deployment, monitor operations, troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test and production environments. The candidate must be willing to multi-task and work independently on projects and work part as a team.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, or electronics or equivalent. Four (4) years of Information Technology (IT) experience is considered equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
  • 4+ years experience system administration experience with Windows and/or Linux Red Hat.
  • 4+ years of recent software development, hardware support and test experience.
  • 1+ year of experience developing in AWS GovCloud or another cloud service provider.
  • Experience with VMWare vSphere, vSAN and ESXi visualization technologies.
  • Understanding of networked system services to include DNS, DHCP, NTP, HTTP, Log Servers, and User Authentication services.
  • Experience architecting and maintaining distributed, enterprise level networks, with a focus on network security.
  • Certification in DoD 8570.01-M (Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program) Information Assurance Workforce Technical Category I - IAT-II certification required (Security+ CE / CCNA Security / CYSA+ / CICSP / GSCEC / SSCP).
  • Candidate MUST BE a US Citizen with a current Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) able to be adjudicated upon commencing work.

Qualifications Desired:

  • 1+ year of experience with Docker Enterprise.
  • 1+ years of experience with UCDMO-Compliant cross domain security solutions.
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level III certification (CASP+ CE, or CCNP Security, or CISA or, CISSP (or Associate) or GCED, or GCIH).
  • 5+ Years of experience working with Government Entity.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design, automation and continuous integration of software build products, maintain tools for deployment, monitor operations, troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test and production environments.
  • Utilize Docker Enterprise to create, deploy and run Windows Server and Linux applications.
  • Work closely with product and platform teams to engineer and implement cloud security controls with a focus on DevOps, leveraging various scripting languages and open source solutions.
  • Provide inputs for design, testing, engineering, automation, API integration, and implementation of security solutions in all aspects of Information Security. 
  • Deploy, manage technologies including DNS, databases, virtualizing platforms, web applications, NAS/SAN, middleware, physical security infrastructure, access control IPsec and biometrics.

Physical Demands:  

While performing duties of the job, incumbent will be exposed to Normal demands associated with an office environment.  Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. This position requires incumbent to have the ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.  Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.

Work Environment:  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
