Field Operations Project Specialist (Project Management)

The Field Operations Project Specialist supports the execution, coordination, and improvement of operational initiatives across Goodwill's retail division. Reporting to the Director of Field Operations, this role works closely with the Director and the Senior Manager of Retail Technology & Innovation to ensure operational strategies are effectively designed, implemented and sustained. The Field Operations Project Specialist provides both field-based support and project-level technical assistance, ensuring new processes, systems, and tools are successfully adopted across stores, donation centers, supply chain, and e-commerce operations.

Duties will also include but are not limited to:

  • Partner with the Director and Senior Manager to scope, plan, and deliver projects across stores, supply chain, e-commerce, and talent development
  • Provide on-site assistance during pilots, rollouts, and operational initiatives
  • Work with Stores, Supply Chain, E-Commerce, and Talent Development leaders to coordinate execution of initiatives
  • Track and analyze data to measure the impact of new processes and initiatives
  • Be knowledgeable of and follow all applicable regulations, procedures and policies for Goodwill of SWPA as the employment sites, including but not limited to attendance, training requirements, and safety policies and procedures

Travel Required: Yes, some travel may be required. 

Hiring Range: $40,000-$45,000/year

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree AND 2+ years experience, Associates Degree AND 3+ years experience, OR High School diploma AND 4+ years of experience

Required Experience:

  • Experience in retail operations, supply chain, logistics, or multi-site environments
  • Project coordination, including planning, tracking, and cross-functional communication
  • Troubleshooting and supporting rollout of new processes, programs, or systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)

Preferred Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge of workflow tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Process mapping, workflow design, or continuous improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Familiarity with retail technology platforms (POS, inventory, or e-commerce systems)
  • Exposure to data analysis, reporting, or automation solutions to improve operations

REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates are expected to provide current valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH)
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
