Journeyman Emergency Management Operations Support Specialist (Government)

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:
Air Force Emergency Management Operations Support: ANSER is seeking qualified candidates with the knowledge and experience to provide technical and subject matter expertise to assist in executing equipment acquisition, modernization, and sustainment; plans and publications management; education and training management; and support operations relative to the Air Force Emergency Management Program and Emergency Management Air Force Specialty (AFS) 3E9X1.
Air Force Civil Engineering Center (AFCEC) Emergency Management Division (CXR): AFCEC provides Major Commands (MAJCOMs) and bases with centralized civil engineering subject matter expertise, project and program management development and execution as well as support services to cost effectively design, build and maintain USAF installations and facilities. AFCEC/CXR develops products and provides operations, plans and publications, education and training, and equipment acquisition, modernization, and sustainment support to the Office of The Civil Engineer; Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC); major command civil engineers; base civil engineers; readiness and emergency management flights; and the emergency management civilian and enlisted career fields.
This job is to support management of the Air Force Emergency Management Program, including organizing, training, and equipping management for the Emergency Management Air Force Specialty (AFS) 3E9X1, and Air Force chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) defense.
Duties include:
Provide Nuclear Weapons Incident/Accident support for USAFE command staff during operations, planning and exercises (e.g., NUWAIX)
Provide readiness updates in the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS)
Provide UTC 4F9WR inventory and control
Develop and assess Mission Essential Task Lists
Act as policy and TTP advisor to the USAFE Staff
Other duties as specified in the relevant Performance Work Statement / Statement of Work
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Strong interpersonal/social skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Air Force Emergency Management / Disaster Preparedness program management
Nuclear Weapons Accident / Incident response force / team management
Training and exercise development
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft SharePoint
Capability to assist in the development and coordination of electronic staff summary packages
Organizational skills such as task management and prioritization, and suspense management
Ability to support internal and external meeting coordinating, planning, scheduling, and recording
EDUCATION & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Education: A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of four (4) years' experience in CBRN defense and Emergency Management or Disaster Preparedness
Location: Ramstein AB, Germany
Clearance: SECRET (or interim)
