Inside Sales Business Development Manager (Sales)
SUMMARY:
The Inside Sales Business Development Manager will increase sales penetration by establishing business with existing dealer clients through professional negotiation and the utilization of superior sales skills, excellent client relationships and accurate product knowledge over the telephone and a variety of electronic media through a pre-defined sales process. S/he will achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and objectives by developing customer relationships and promoting LoJack products and services to assigned accounts in a structured contact center setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account Management
Develop, cultivate and manage relationships with dealer accounts that are assigned to Inside Sales.
Manage volume and installations of dealer accounts that are designated to Inside Sales.
Identify, develop and update leads/prospects from lead sources.
Close leads and deliver volume.
Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly quotas.
Support team members with existing customers and prospects. Including managing sales logs, providing sales reports on an as needed basis, working with operations in installations, working with A/R department in correcting invoicing/pricing issues.
Sell and expand product and industry knowledge and manage customer relationships.
Team up with Field Sales on select dealers to ensure a specific account is nurtured and opportunity is maximized for the betterment of LoJack.
Identify customer service issues/trends and act as liaison in resolving and addressing.
Commitment to existing best practices, sales promotions and programs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Strong cold/warm calling skills with a hunter mentality.
Open minded to change for the benefit of the team.
Must be self-motivated, self-directed with a desire to excel.
Excellent verbal, presentation and written skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests concurrently.
Ability to problem solve and bring timely resolution to issues.
Sustained history of achieving sales targets.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
2+ years in inside sales with successful track record preferred.
Bachelor Degree preferred.
Automotive experience preferred.
Recent college graduates who desire to be in sales encouraged to apply.
Retail automotive encouraged to apply.
