SME/Logistics Analyst, Defense Security Cooperation Agency (Government)

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:
ANSER is seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME)/Security Cooperation (SC) Logistics Analyst to support a Task Order providing program management support services to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DCSA). The SME/SC Logistics Analyst will support the monitoring and delivery of BPC programs designed to enhance international partner nations' security forces and improve logistics functions in order to maintain and sustain U.S.-provided capabilities. Responsibilities include:
Programmatic and administrative support;
Assisting in coordinating and facilitating information;
Fostering interdepartmental relationships;
Performing research;
Analyzing data;
Producing reports;
Developing delivery forecasts;
Assisting in logistics policy revisions.
This is a full-time position based at DSCA in Crystal City, VA. The anticipated start date is October 1, 2019. This position is contingent upon award.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of three (3) years of work experience (within the last five (5) years) related to a solid understanding of Security Cooperation Building Partner Capacity Programs and its related fields of logistics, transportation, delivery and current security cooperation database management tools.
Strong computer, analytical skills, and the ability to research and communicate effectively in writing.
Flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management staff, Department of Defense (DoD) counterparts, as well as foreign clients and industry representatives.
Knowledge and prior experience in Security Assistance policy and procedure, related legislation with the ability to assist in the management of complex operations involving compliance with policy issues.
Ability to foster a positive relationship with DoD Agencies, State Department, respective Combatant Commanders, Joint Staff, Military Departments and in country Security Cooperation Officers in the allocation and execution of BPC activities/programs to enhance partner nation institutional capacity in the logistics field.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proficiency with Excel to perform data evaluation, formulas, analytics and spreadsheets.
Ability to transfer presentation graphics from Excel into PowerPoint or Word.
Active secret security clearance required.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in related security cooperation areas and programs, such as BPC programs, military requirements and capability development, and Global Train and Equip programs through the FMS process.
Experience in logistics systems and management, and/or process improvements.
Proficiency with SharePoint, Access database, graphical arts, and media presentation.
EDUCATION & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of three (3) years of work experience (within the last five (5) years) related to a solid understanding of Security Cooperation Building Partner Capacity Programs and its related field of logistics.
