Responsibilities:
Manage Gartner's Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance effort which entails working with numerous business units within Finance, STG, and HR. Coordinate all documentation and testing efforts with the external auditors to ensure a smooth and timely sign off on Gartner’s SOX program. Track and document compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements •Review procedures and controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements •Independently manage special projects around SOX such as transitions to new frameworks, key control rationalizations, etc. •Manage the process of updating all relevant SOX documentation by working with process owners to ensure timely completion of process narratives and key control matrices •Coordinate SOX scope, review and testing internally and with the external auditors (KPMG) •Drive the testing efforts required under SOX by coordinating with various departments to document and test key controls •Lead the documentation and remediation efforts for all internal control deficiencies •Coordinate with the external auditor to facilitate the audit of the Company's Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Requirements: •Bachelor's in Accounting •4-7 years of accounting and Sarbanes Oxley experience; CPA preferred •Ability to implement process improvements to ensure efficiency & excellent customer service •Ability to provide clear instruction to teams and ensure compliance of policies & procedures •Ability to ensure tight deadlines are met and ensure SLA's are met to our internal customers •Ability to work with various groups to ensure complete information is provided to team and ensure policies are followed •Ability to manage multiple tasks involved in the day-to-day operation •Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Additional Details Gartner is an Affirmative Action-Equal Opportunity Employer.
